Tough decisions were made through a collaborative process, which ultimately reflected the input of the community, and included the elimination of programs. As a leader in time of difficulty and change, Dr. Petti demonstrated patience, strong facilitation skills to involve stakeholders and stewardship of the school's vision in the best interests of children. Dr. Petti facilitated and supported an open learning community with ongoing professional development for staff in reading comprehension, technology integration and math/science curriculum and assessment.
